Professional Experience

Fabricio has 20 years of experience in advising and representing Brazilian and foreign companies in a wide range of antitrust and competition law, as well as compliance, data privacy and regulatory matters, such as: collaborative, horizontal and vertical arrangements, compliance programs, high-profile international and local cartel and anticorruption investigations, unilateral conduct cases and numerous merger control filings (domestic and cross-border M&A deals) with the Brazilian antitrust authorities in different economic sectors and industries. He regularly represents clients in disputes before Courts and administrative agencies in Brazil.

Prior to founding Mello Torres, where he heads the antitrust, compliance and data privacy departments, Fabricio was a consultant for international antitrust at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in Washington , DC , USA.
