With more than two decades of experience, Rafael has built an established career in both private practice and in-house legal departments, with extensive expertise in environmental and regulatory matters, particularly across the mining, fertilizers, chemicals, energy, agribusiness, and construction sectors.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in structuring and implementing investments, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, licensing procedures, and project development, bringing extensive experience in regulatory, environmental, corporate, contractual, and transactional matters.
His professional background also includes significant involvement in institutional and industry-related initiatives, with active participation in forums and industry associations, combining legal expertise, in-depth sector knowledge, and a strategic business perspective.
