Rafael Chucri is a partner at Mello Torres Advogados, focusing on Regulatory Law, Infrastructure, Mining and Environmental Law. With more than two decades of experience, he advises companies, investors and business groups on complex projects and transactions, particularly in the mining, fertilizers, chemicals, energy, agribusiness and construction sectors.
His career combines experience in private practice and in-house legal departments, advising on regulatory, environmental, corporate, contractual and transactional matters. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the structuring and implementation of investments, M&A transactions, joint ventures, licensing and project development, as well as strategic matters involving capital-intensive and highly regulated assets.
Rafael also has extensive experience in industry and institutional matters, actively participating in forums and industry associations and bringing together legal expertise, in-depth sector knowledge and a strong business perspective.
