Throughout her career, Maria Eduarda has focused her professional practice on matters for Brazilian and international clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate reorganizations, due diligence processes, investment structuring, contract negotiations, and general corporate matters. She has been involved in the execution of complex transactions across a wide range of industries.
Before joining Mello Torres, Maria Eduarda had been working as part of the legal team at Starboard Partners, an investment firm specializing in special situations. In this role, she advised on the legal structuring of investments and played an active role in the execution of M&A transactions, structured finance deals, and corporate restructurings.
