Professional Experience
Victoria began her career in environmental law eight years ago at the law firm Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados, where she worked on high-profile cases and crisis management, including the dam disasters in Mariana and Brumadinho, as well as the soil subsidence in Maceió. She has also dealt with environmental law cases across various industrial sectors, with expertise in all aspects of the field, including conducting due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, as well as judicial and administrative environmental proceedings.
In 2021, she was hired by Lefosse Advogados, where she developed expertise in ESG, assisting clients and developing sustainability strategies, carbon markets, governance, and targets for environmental agendas. Subsequently, she received a scholarship to pursue a Master’s in ESG, Law, and Business at Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, where she became a member of several committees focused on ESG-related issues and European repercussions.
